Throughout his career, he has flown on four continents and worked for four different companies. Slavko Zecevic began his career in aviation in 1996 when he enrolled in a summer school at the Pilot Academy in Vršac. He completed his pilot training in the United States and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Pacific Western University. He also holds an MBA in Aviation from one of the most prestigious aviation colleges, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

He started his professional pilot career in 1998 in Cyprus, flying business jets. He later joined Montenegro Airlines where he became a captain in 2005. Since 2015, he has been flying for Air Serbia as a captain on the Airbus A320. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in the aviation industry such as Civil Aviation Inspector, Senior Manager for Safety and Compliance, and Director of Flight Operations.
