Milica Cuckic

Milica is our music star and she has so much knowledge in today’s music industry to share with you. This talented and quite capable lady is a seasoned professional with 11 years of work on customer relations and business development.

She worked with various international music and tech companies and career is what fulfills her and brings smile to her face. Our NY-based mentor is very passionate and a true high-energy leader with extensive comprehension of the entertainment industry ecosystem (players, trends, business solutions, rights management, etc).

Milica is currently in charge of business development for services of music monitoring via fingerprint technology at BMAT Music Innovators, and her goal is to help enable a fairer and more transparent revenue streams for artists.

This music industry rock star started her career at System Recordings in NYC in 2009 and has worked in various facets of the industry ever since. Her fluency in 5 languages (Serbian, English, Spanish, Italian and Russian) allowed her to work on deals and negotiations of global scale in sync licensing at Ed. Curci in Milan.

Inspired by the practices of the U.S market, Milica moved to NYC in 2013 and worked on various projects at Wind-up Records, fostering her curiosity for artist development.

She has been a featured speaker at MONDO NYC conference, CD Baby DIY Musician Conference in Austin, The Heroes Project at Clive Davis Institute at NYU etc.

Her ultimate goal is to inspire more women to consider and pursue a career in the business side of the music industry.
